Why the numbers differ
Every size on this page describes the same physical foot length, 26.2 cm. Europe measures in Paris points, where one size is two thirds of a centimetre, which is why EU numbers climb faster than UK and US numbers. The UK and the US both use the barleycorn system, a third of an inch per size, but they start counting from different points, and the US then splits again into separate men's and women's scales about 1.5 sizes apart. None of that changes the shoe, only the number printed inside it.
Brands still cut a given size generously or tightly, so treat the converted number as the starting point and the 26.2 cm foot length as the check.
