Privacy policy
The short version: everything runs in your browser, and we do not collect anything you type. Here is the detail.
What we collect
Nothing you enter. Every converter and calculator on MySizeCharts runs entirely in your browser using static tables built into the page. The sizes and measurements you type are never sent to a server, never stored and never shared, because there is no server-side processing involved at all.
Analytics
If analytics is switched on for this site, it is a cookieless product that counts page views and a small set of named events in aggregate. It sets no cookie, stores nothing on your device and cannot follow you to another site, which is why there is no consent prompt standing between you and an answer.
The events are listed in full in the repository, and the rule they follow is simple: never a body measurement. When you use a converter, the event records which category and which two systems, and not the size you typed. On the bra calculator no value is recorded at all. A measurement you take of your own body is not something this site wants to know.
Advertising
There is currently no advertising on MySizeCharts and no third-party ad script loads. If that ever changes, this page will say so before it happens, together with who the network is, and visitors in the EEA and UK will be asked for consent before any non-essential cookie is set.
Affiliate links
Some pages may carry links to retailers that pay a commission on a sale. They are always labelled where they appear, they never change what a chart says, and they are plain links: no affiliate script runs on this site, so following one tells us nothing beyond the fact that the link was clicked. Local storage
Separately from any advertising cookies, the site stores your light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage so it remembers your preference. That value stays on your device and you can clear it any time by clearing site data.
The homepage promises no sign up and no upload, and local storage is neither: it never leaves your device. Even so, it is worth being explicit, because trust is the cheapest thing to keep and the most expensive thing to rebuild. If the site ever remembers a setting for you, it will be a preference such as a theme or a unit, and never a body measurement.
Hosting and logs
The site is served as static files from a content delivery network. Like any web host, the network may keep basic technical request logs, such as anonymised IP address and requested URL, for security and reliability. We do not use these to identify or profile individuals.
The JSON API
The free JSON API serves static files. Requests to it are ordinary web requests and are not tied to any account, because there are no accounts.
Your choices and contact
You can decline non-essential cookies from the consent prompt where it applies, block cookies in your browser settings, or clear local storage at any time. Questions about this policy are welcome on the contact page.
Changes
If this policy changes, for example when we add or update an advertising or analytics provider, the update will appear here with a new date below.
