The short version: everything runs in your browser, and we do not collect anything you type. Here is the detail.
What we collect
Nothing you enter. Every converter and calculator on SizeCharts runs entirely in your browser using static tables built into the page. The sizes and measurements you type are never sent to a server, never stored and never shared, because there is no server-side processing involved at all.
Cookies, analytics and ads
SizeCharts is free to use and is supported by advertising. Where ads are shown, they are served by third-party advertising networks (such as Google AdSense or Ezoic), and those networks can set their own cookies and use similar technologies to measure ad performance and, where permitted, personalise ads. We may also use privacy-respecting analytics to see which pages are useful, in aggregate, not to build a profile of you. If you visit from the EEA or UK, you will be asked for consent before any personalised ad or non-essential cookie is set, and you can change that choice at any time.
Local storage
Separately from any advertising cookies, the site stores your light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage so it remembers your preference. That value stays on your device and you can clear it any time by clearing site data.
Hosting and logs
The site is served as static files from a content delivery network. Like any web host, the network may keep basic technical request logs, such as anonymised IP address and requested URL, for security and reliability. We do not use these to identify or profile individuals.
The JSON API
The free JSON API serves static files. Requests to it are ordinary web requests and are not tied to any account, because there are no accounts.
Your choices and contact
You can decline non-essential cookies from the consent prompt where it applies, block cookies in your browser settings, or clear local storage at any time. Questions about this policy are welcome on the contact page.
Changes
If this policy changes, for example when we add or update an advertising or analytics provider, the update will appear here with a new date below.
