Affiliate disclosure
There are currently no affiliate links anywhere on this site. This page describes the rules that will apply if that ever changes, so the rules exist before the money does.
Current status
MySizeCharts currently earns nothing. No affiliate programme is active, no commission is paid to anyone, and no link on this site is a paid placement. The site is funded by FusionStudios, the studio that built it.
The rule that comes first
No commercial relationship changes a number in a chart. Not the value, not the rounding, not the order of the rows, not which conversion gets a page. The whole point of a neutral sizing reference is that the numbers are the same whoever is paying, and the moment that stops being true the site is worth nothing to anybody, including a retailer.
Where a commercial link may appear
- Below the answer and above the full chart, in a clearly labelled block.
- On a printable page, as an alternative to measuring it yourself.
- On a how-to-measure page, next to the tool the instructions call for.
- On a brand-specific page, where the intent is already commercial.
Where it never appears
- Above the answer. The answer is why you came.
- Inside a table. A chart is data, not a shelf.
- In the embed widget. That widget runs on other people's shops, and an affiliate link inside it would be a reason for them to remove it, and rightly so.
- As a link you could mistake for editorial. If it earns, it says so.
How it is built
No affiliate network script ever runs on this site. Commercial links are plain links with a tracking parameter in the URL, nothing more. A network script would set cookies, slow the page down and break the promise on the homepage that every conversion runs in your browser. That trade is not worth making at any commission rate.
Which retailers appear, if any, is decided on one test: do they publish their own measurement table? A retailer who does adds information to the page. A retailer who does not adds only a checkout.
Advertising
There is no display advertising on this site and no ad script loads. If that changes, the privacy policy will say so first.
Questions
If a link here ever looks like it is bending a chart, say so on the contact page. That is the kind of correction this project most wants to receive.
